Correx is a twinwall, lightweight, disposable, waterproof material. Ideal for short to mid term signs and displays, Outdoor signs, large trays, directional signs, and transit cases. It is an extruded corrugated plastic sheet with a fluted core ideal for fabrication.
What is the difference between Foamex and Correx?
The difference is how sturdy the materials are and their durability; Foamex boards are ore durable and stronger than correx, correx has a flutted centre or core and foamex have a solid dense centre or core.
Can I recycle this Correx board?
Correx boards are made from polypropylene (PP) which is given the 'Number 5' mark for recycling.
Correx suitable for outdoor use?
Correx is designed to be used outdoors and is printed with waterproof UV inks.
What are the requirements for artwork?
Our preferable file format is PDF. Please make sure the design files meet all general standard printing requirements like:
- Files must be to scale (100% size) or at least in proportion (half size, quarter size etc.)
- CMYK colour mode (no RGB or Pantone colours as it can cause problems)
- All text must be converted to curves/outlined or at least embedded inside supplied pdf
- A bleed of 3mm all around
- Please include cutpath for cut out boards indicating expected board shape OR simply describe where it should be and we will draw the shape for you in most cases free of charge.
